THE DOROTHY AND HENRY GRAU JEWISH LEARNING CENTER

Over the past year and a half all of us have been affected by the Covid virus pandemic.
Every segment of society has been impacted. But, pessimism has turned to hope and many positive changes have occurred . It’s taken a long time, but optimism is in the air.

The ability to be flexible, to take chances and especially to rely on those who are important to our lives will give us the strength to go on.

With this in mind we’ve decided to expand our religious school to have a greater, and more positive and long term impact on our children. Furthermore, we are expanding our educational offerings for adults.

These are exciting the new programs we offer as part of our newly renamed
THE DOROTHY AND HENRY GRAU JEWISH LEARNING CENTER:

MENSHKETEER ACADEMY (k-6) – we teach all facets of Jewish and secular education, combining the past with the present to give our students a comprehensive learning and meaningful experience.

WHO IS BAR/T MITZVAH (grades 7 -12) – When our children turn 13 and celebrate their new responsibility for Mitzvoth, this is the beginning of an extraordinary journey. As they mature into adulthood, they will encounter new challenges and a new sense of spiritual identity. We offer personalized tutoring, family and community support, skills classes, and a value and ethics-based education that teaches them to navigate an increasingly complex world.

USY – Youth group (grades 7-12)
Along with tens of thousands of Jewish pre-teens and teens, we offer local social activities, regional spiritual retreats and summer trips around the nation and world.

FAMILY EDUCATION – Every day is a learning curve for parents.  Sometimes it is a very difficult juggling act in order to balance family time and a Jewish education. Through our semi-monthly Shabbat Adventure series, we aim to combine and foster meaningful bonds between and among our families.

ADULT EDUCATION – Every day is a learning experience for a Jew. We offer support and guidance through a diverse array of educational opportunities, including: Lunch’N’ Learn, Kiddush Bible Study, Talmud and Rugelach, and more.
